You know you’re at a convention when you come across strange costumed men and women prancing around in tights and highly ridiculous clothing. Penny Arcade Expo is one such convention where you will be sure to meet smelly nerds and geeks and whatnot… and come to love the whole experience!

Seeing as how most of us can’t make it to the expo, Kotaku was kind enough to take pictures of cosplayers, and damn, some of them are wonderful. Click through for more shock/delight.

What’s wrong with the above picture? Both models are nicely posed, there’s great sunlight, and, of course, smiles all around. And they appear to be in love even after all these years. But there’s more “love” in that picture than you can find at your first glance.

There are two donkeys making sweet love in the background. Oh yes, they are.

Julie Ziesemann was the photographer who froze this moment. And no, she didn’t notice it while shooting, nor while editing.

I’ve never laughed so hard in a long time. Heck, I’d pay to see the faces of those two when she shows them the portrait!

Tired of speed cameras always monitoring your speed limit?  It looks like that there is a new speed limit you will have to worry about. Well from the picture, your wondering, is there any speed limit there?

The world has seen its fair share of geniuses in arts, science, literature and whatnot. However, what would they be like when interviewed for the role of university professors?

Times Higher Education (THE) took a rather witty look at what these geniuses would be like in front of an interview board, including the likes of Jane Austen to Leo Tolstoy.

Here’s a snippet from my favorite, Socrates:

This group on Flickr is home to quite a few humorously wrong and outrageous signs from all over the world. More words shouldn’t be wasted on such beauty – just see them for yourself.

Who doesn’t love Twitter? It’s become the perfect medium for banter and one-liners within 140 characters; in fact quite a few have crafted perfect jokes within that limitation. You could end up a published author, the subject of a movie, or even better – be featured in Greg Williams’ Twipcomics.

Williams takes awesome tweets from the Tweetosphere to create a perfect illustration that takes your tweet and realizes its hilarity. There are quite a few classics in there, and hey, you could be featured there someday!

It looks like scientists have found a portal to the outside world.

The Worth1000 Photoshop contests have always been fun, ranging from the mildly odd to out-of-the-world crazy shit. Whatever they’ve been, they’ve always been wildly humorous, and their latest contest is no different.

This time, the goons at Worth1000 are showing off their talents in removing the trousers of celebrities, revealing their tightie-whities and whatnot.

There’s something weirdly funny about Wolverine being all dramatic and wearing pink underwear while two men secretly check him out from behind. Now you know why.
